December Green
In my memories the disappointingly green Decembers began in 1980, with wet grass soaking socks and no snow to play with.
Still, it is only in the last 10 years that I can remember vivid green moss and ferns still growing strong, gathering energy from the captured light of the sun, their chlorophyll still going strong in December.
Here on the border with Canada, the moths are still flying in the afternoons.
