One was a toy given to a boy they hoped might become a medical doctor some day, if only they could instill the obsession with random displays of anatomy.

Another was a replacement for the tallow that drips from slaughtered bulls, congealed into tight cylinders to light on fire.

A third was rough for those who feel comfort could lead to a lapse in judgment during mortal combat.

All these were tastefully draped to create the appearance of ancient mystery. The illusion was not successfully achieved.
